Bio:

Patrick Stewart is an ETCP Certified Rigger – Arena, ETCP Certified Entertainment Electrician, and ETCP Recognized Trainer. His career in live events started by working in electrics in high school and as a rental technician at a theatrical supply house. After delivering spotlights to a concert in 1984, he was hooked and spent the remainder of the 1980s working local concerts, theatre, and corporate events. Eventually, he hit the road working on corporate events all over the U.S, Canada, and Mexico in the 1990s.

Patrick joined ETC in 1999, first as a Field Service Engineer and since, has moved into his current role as an Outreach and Training Specialist. Patrick also is currently serving in the U.S. Navy Reserves and Middleton Fire District, and is the USITT Midwest Region Vice Chair of Programming. His training includes a minor in Occupational Safety and Health and Aviation Safety. He also has completed OSHA 10 and 30 as well as multiple rescue certifications. Patrick still enjoys rigging shows in the Madison area and is currently the IATSE Local 251 President.
