Bio:

Patrick Stewart is an ETCP Certified Rigger – Arena, ETCP Certified Entertainment Electrician, and ETCP Recognized Trainer. His career in live events started by working in electrics in high school and as a rental technician at a theatrical supply house. After delivering spotlights to a concert in 1984, he was hooked and spent the remainder of the 1980s working local concerts, theatre, and corporate events. Eventually, he hit the road working on corporate events all over the U.S., Canada, and Mexico in the 1990s. He joined IATSE in 1994 and is still an active member, primarily rigging shows in his local area.

In 1999 he accepted a full-time job with ETC and moved to Middleton, WI. His ETC career began as a field service engineer, while helping with tradeshows on the side. By 2005, he had transitioned to working with tradeshows full time and now works in education and outreach. Additionally, Patrick enlisted in the U.S. Navy Reserves in 1999, the Middleton Fire District in 2005, and USITT Midwest Region, holding leadership positions in each. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management, with minors in Aviation Safety and Occupational Safety and Health, OSHA 10 and 30, as well as multiple rescue certifications.
