June Abernathy

Bio:

June Abernathy (she/her) has been touring the country with a variety of Broadway Musicals as FOH Electrician and Spotlight Supervisor since 1998, most recently with the National Tours of Disney’s The Lion King and SIX the Musical. She has worked on a variety of events from Broadway shows and tours to rock concerts to regional theater, opera, and dance, cruise ship work, and everything in between. A graduate of Florida State University, she has worked in the theater in many capacities, including as a Local and Touring IATSE Stagehand, AEA Stage Manager, Author, Speaker, Designer and Consultant. She is the author of “The Spotlight Operator’s Handbook” and “The Tried and True Book of 101 Spotlight Excuses”.
