Bio:
June Abernathy has been touring the country with a variety of Broadway musicals as FOH Electrician and spotlight supervisor since 1998, most recently with the national tours of Disney’s The Lion King and SIX the Musical. A graduate of Florida State University, she has worked in the theater in many capacities, including as a lighting designer, spotlight supervisor, local and touring IATSE stagehand, AEA stage manager, speaker, and author. She is the author of “The Spotlight Operator’s Handbook” and “The Tried and True Book of 101 Spotlight Excuses”.
