Building A Broadway Followspot Design with Spot On

This session will discuss the process of building a followspot design as part of an overall Lighting Design for a show. We will concentrate on demonstrating how Spot On, a software program widely used by the Broadway Community, can be used and customized to build comprehensive Followspot Cue Sheets and show paperwork.

Colleen Doherty is an NYC based Lighting Designer who specializes in work with followspots, and she is an expert in using the Spot On program. June Abernathy has worked with the Spot On system as well as several other programs, and is well equipped to discuss what works and what doesn't, and what an Operator wants and needs from an LD in terms of cue sheets and paperwork support.
