Bio:

Colleen's love of lighting design is rooted in the power of storytelling and its ability to change the world. The lighting design of a show creates the air that characters breathe---the audience breathes that same air and is pulled into the world of the play. She is a Florida born, New York based Lighting Designer with a Master of Fine Arts in Lighting Design from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University.​ Colleen has worked as an Associate and Assistant Lighting Designer on Broadway and Off-Broadway, and made her regional theatre Lighting Design debut at Hartford Stage in January 2023 with a new play, Espejos:Clean. Colleen recently made her Off-Broadway Lighting Design debut with a new musical, Ghost of John McCain, at Soho Playhouse in September 2024. ​ Prior to attending graduate school Colleen worked as the Resident Lighting Designer and Assistant Master Electrician at the Orlando Shakespeare Theatre in Orlando, Florida. She is a proud member of USA 829.
