Alison Heiser is the owner of Open Heart Counseling in Denver, CO. Alison had a brief career as an actor right out of college but discovered that working behind the scenes was much more fun. She ran a non-profit theatre company for several years before coming to a crossroads and choosing to become a therapist. A former dancer and yoga teacher, Alison has always been fascinated by the mind-body connection. When she observed that some clie3nts with mental health concerns were also experiencing chronic pain, she became certified in Pain Reprocessing Therapy and now helps clients manage and reduce their chronic pain.
