In this session I will present from both my experience as a lighting designer for the theatre and research in education settings of lighting a variety of skin tones using LED equipment as the key. Most of these discoveries were made by doing co-productions between a theater will all LED equipment and all conventional equipment and the adaptations made to the production. I will cover how traditional lighting methods can be adapted to serve LED equipment, and how color mixing from different angles provies rich vibrancy. I will also provide talking points to assist in securing funding for updating equipment. This session will best serve theater lighting directors and educators but may also benefit anyone in event or conference lighting.
