The goal is to explain that there is no single "right" answer, but rather, the importance of matching the appropriate type of fixture to the intended needs of the buyer and the venue, and methods of doing that. There are a bewildering number of choices for someone looking to spec and purchase a followspot for a venue, a show, or an event. So many sizes and types of followspots are on the market, and so much conflicting information is out there, that it can be hard to know where to begin. This session will help prospective buyers understand what the choices are, and how to narrow down the contenders for what type of fixture makes the most sense for their space, their budget, and their intented use.
