Here at LightParts we get asked a lot "what should we do to maintain our automated lights in order to make them last as long as possible?" This presentation will cover the basic elements present in all automated fixtures, both LED and conventional metal halide lamp based. I'll touch on basics of metal halide lamps - how to handle and dispose of them, and how to determine when they need replacement. We'll then discuss routine maintenence. Finally we'll discuss some basic troubleshooting approaches. Then we'll conclude with some Q&A fun.

Knowledge of AC and DC power, Ohm's Law and the use of a digital multimeter will be helpful, but is not required.
