Thomas Ladd

Bio:

Thomas Ladd is a Consulting Director for Sales and Business Development at Acuity Brands where he oversees sales and strategy of the Pathway Connectivity product line. His passion is lighting control system design and programming with over 30 years experience.

Starting out backstage in live entertainment, he transitioned to the construction industry to focus on project management and DMX control system applications for the growing number projects incorporating DMX in architecture.  He went on to lead international sales at Pharos Architectural Controls for 14 years and worked on designing and programming landmark projects globally. His experience with diverse technologies, on both architectural and entertainment lighting projects, has equipped him with invaluable knowledge of the design, installation, and programming processes crucial for the implementation of large-scale dynamic lighting projects.

Thomas is a long-standing member of the IES, and prioritizes staying up to date with current programming practices and platforms while actively participating in lighting projects in both the entertainment and architectural sectors as much as he can.
