Sean “Sharky” Harper
Project Manager
Bio:
Sean “Sharky” Harper is a project manager with Production Resource Group (PRG) with more than two decades of experience across broadcast, concert touring, and live production.
Sharky began his career in television engineering before moving into the concert touring industry, building a technical foundation that has continued to shape his approach to large-scale production. Throughout his career, he has worked on some of the industry’s most demanding productions, supporting artists including Foo Fighters, Beyoncé, Metallica, The Rolling Stones, Santana, Tom Petty, REM, Keith Urban, and Lionel Richie. His credits also include major broadcast and special-event productions such as Metallica’s 40th Anniversary concerts and the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts at both Wembley Stadium in London and the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
At PRG, Sharky manages complex touring productions that bring together video, lighting, automation, rigging, logistics, engineering, and large technical crews. His work spans the distance between initial production planning and the realities of getting a show on stage, with responsibility for multimillion-dollar programs, significant equipment packages, global logistics, and teams of highly specialized technicians.
Known within the touring community for a calm, solutions-focused approach, Sharky has built his career around solving difficult production problems, assembling strong technical teams, and keeping complex shows moving as circumstances change.
Whether working months ahead of a tour or minutes before doors, his philosophy remains straightforward: understand the problem, find the solution, and get the show up.
