Sam Molitoriss

Bio:

Sam Molitoriss is a partner in Lightwright, the industry-standard lighting management software relied upon by lighting professionals worldwide. Sam is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama, where he studied lighting design and photography. He began his career in New York working for lighting designer Ken Billington before shifting his focus to video and projection design. During the pandemic, Sam partnered with Lightwright’s creator, John McKernon, to form Lightwright LLC, with the shared vision of evolving the software into a sustainable, forward-looking platform for the lighting industry. While Lightwright occupies most of his time, he continues to freelance occasionally as a video programmer in commercial theatre and live events. When he’s not in front of a computer or at a tech table, Sam can be found running through Central Park or in the kitchen, cooking and exploring his love of food and wine.
