Bio:

Rob Halliday has been lighting artists, spaces and performances - drama to musicals, concerts to restaurants - all over the world for more than thirty-five years. Recent work includes A Possibility with the visual artist Germaine Kruip for the Manchester Festival, and previously for the same festival, Tree of Codes, with Wayne McGregor, Olafur Eliasson and Jamie xx. As lighting programmer he has been involved in a generation of pioneering shows including Les Misérables and Billy Elliot. He has also writes about entertainment design and technology for a wide range of publications and in books including Theatre Lighting Design: Conversations on the Art, Craft and Life. He is co-editor and co-publisher of Richard Pilbrow’s A Sense of Theatre
