Bio:

Nathaniel "Nate" Cromwell is a lighting designer, programmer, and creative director whose passion for live production began at age 14 with a dream of running lights for Ani DiFranco. Since then, his career has spanned a remarkable range of artists, including Alanis Morissette, Billy Joel, Carrie Underwood, The Eagles, Don Henley, John Mellencamp, Seal, and many more. A proud member of the United Scenic Artists, Nate has been at the forefront of integrating performer tracking into live productions for over a decade. With more than 12 years of hands-on experience, he has used every major tracking system on the market and has built a reputation for delivering technically innovative and visually stunning results in tours, festivals, and one-off events. He is a certified instructor in both basic and advanced BlackTrax systems and actively collaborates with multiple tracking manufacturers to help shape the next generation of tools for the road. When he’s designing shows or on tour behind the console, Nate enjoys adventure travel, volunteers with French Bulldog rescue groups, menroting the next generation of creatives, and serves on local community boards and national event industry committees. His work is driven by a deep commitment to innovation, mentorship, and helping others succeed in the ever-evolving world of live entertainment
