Liz Albright

Liz Albright is the Associate Lighting Director for Fox News. Originally from North Carolina, Liz earned her BFA in technical production and design at UNCG, and began her professional career in theatre with The Lost Colony Summer Theatre. Further theatre credits include Williamstown Theatre Festival, Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre, Central Piedmont Community College Theatre, Raleigh Little Theatre, and Cape Fear Theatre Arts before moving up to New York City in 2016. There she started working in the live event industry as a lighting programmer, designer, and project manager, eventually finding her way to Fox News in 2018. With Fox, Liz has helped design and program lights for Fox shows like Gutfeld! and The Five, numerous town halls, the Patriot Awards, special coverage of many political events including two Presidential Inaugurations, and is a key player in managing and designing studio renovations. Key accomplishments were as the Lighting Designer for Fox’s special coverage of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in 2024, and the Assistant Lighting Designer for two Fox News hosted Republican Candidate Debates in 2023 for the 2024 election.
