Bio:

Kris Ackerman launched his career in the live entertainment industry after graduating from Full Sail University in 2007. Since then, he has built extensive experience in A/V production, working with renowned companies such as Disney Consumer Products, Best Buy, 3M, and Encore.

With 15 years of experience at Encore Global, Kris is a highly skilled rigging professional and an ETCP-certified rigger. As a regional rigging manager, he leads a team of eight senior rigging managers (production riggers) who provide crucial support for offsite rigging productions and assist local rigging teams across the United States and Canada.

Kris’s extensive knowledge and leadership help ensure the highest standards of safety and efficiency in rigging operations. His team plays a pivotal role in delivering seamless event rigging production, offering both technical expertise and logistical support to enhance the capabilities of Encore’s rigging division.
