Bio:
Kevin Lowther is a 38-year Journeyman member in IATSE #15 (Seattle, WA). He was a house electrician at the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle in the 1990’s, working on a variety of in house and touring shows. He went on the road in the winter of 1999 with the National Tour of Miss Saigon as an Electrics and Sound Swing, and continued touring with various broadway shows over the next two decades, including: Miss Saigon, Mamma Mia, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Drowsy Chaperone, and Irving Berlin's White Christmas.
Over that career, he has worked in a variety of departments and positions including Head Carpenter, Automation Technician, Flyman, Deck Carpenter, Spotlight Supervisor, Assistant Electrician, Sound Assistant, and Advance and Post Out roles until he retired from the road in 2020. He currently lives in St. Petersburg, Florida, and works at the Historic Tampa Theatre and with IATSE #321 in Tampa, FL.
