Jeremiah Kearns

Bio:

Jeremiah is the Assistant Professor of Lighting and Sound Design at the University of Kentucky. He earned an MFA in Lighting design from Indiana University in 2023 after completing a BFA in Rock Concert Technology from Northern Kentucky University in 2020.

A passionate storyteller, Jeremiah finds his place ensuring others are heard and seen on stage. He approaches design as a world building endeavor. Lighting and sound create the environments the characters occupy, reflecting the emotions, ideas, and actions of the characters. 

Recent credits include Jesus Christ Superstar at NKU and A Night with Janis Joplin at Totem Pole Playhouse. Recent UK Credits include: Into the Woods, Urinetown, Footloose
