Bio:

Jennifer Hemme is a production strategist, director, and arts technology innovator with more than 25 years of experience designing and leading large-scale theatrical productions.

During her tenure in the Clark County School District, she built high-capacity theatre programs and managed complex, multi-layered productions involving large casts, technical crews, live orchestras, and statewide performance initiatives — several of which were selected to perform at the International Thespian Festival. Her work has included piloting new theatrical releases and navigating the operational demands of early-stage productions, from licensing logistics to technical integration.

Recognized nationally for excellence in theatre education and leadership, Jennifer is the recipient of The Smith Center Heart of Education Award, the Music Theatre International Courage in Theatre Award, and an Honorable Mention for the 2019 Tony Award for Theatre Education.

Now retired from the classroom, Jennifer works with Digital Theatre, where she focuses on building integrated production management systems that streamline communication, scheduling, ticketing, streaming, and financial workflows. Her work centers on helping production teams move from fragmented tools and reactive problem-solving to unified, scalable systems that support both artistry and operational excellence.

She also serves as an Education Project Facilitator with The Smith Center, bridging creative vision with practical production infrastructure.
