Bio:
Since the last century Herrick has designed theater. live events, and installations on every continent except one. His work has earned him recognition from the NY theater community and elsewhere including a 2020 Drama Desk nomination, Henry Hewes nomination (American Theater Wing), a 2018 SALT award, The ISES big Apple award, the Live Design excellence award, and the inaugural Redden Award.
His work has enthralled visitors to Madame Tussauds NYC and Las Vegas, The Water Feature at Lagaurdia Airport, and the Event lighting installations at NYC Little Island. His designs have been seen at Rockefeller Center Centennial of Flight, The Cradle of Aviation museum, Christies auction House, The Faena Theater Miami Beach, and Booz Allen Hamilton’s new Helix experience center in DC.
Herrick has designed or helped create the visual look of the films Spider Man 2, Noah, Sisters, The Night Before, and the upcoming Schwarzenegger film The Man with the Bag. Having taught Design at MIT in the 90’s Herrick still teaches and lectures about lighting design whenever he can.
