Bio:
Greg Smith has more than 40 years of experience in the live events industry, beginning his career in 1984 providing high-level audio services for clients including McDonald’s, Nike, and Bassmasters. His production career included leadership roles with OSA International and Masque Sound & Recording, where he built and expanded corporate events operations in Orlando and Phoenix.
Greg later became the North American representative for Navigator Systems Ltd., spending 25 years growing the market for its HireTrack rental management software and developing extensive expertise in the workflows and technology behind live event production and rental companies.
After transitioning into consulting, Greg identified subrentals as a persistent industry challenge. He acquired Second Warehouse, rebuilt and rebranded it as Pro Subrental Marketplace, and developed integrations and alliances with leading rental management platforms including Flex, Rentman, IntelliEvent, and HireTrack.
Today, Greg combines decades of production, technology, and operational experience to help make the live events industry more connected and efficient.
