George Ray
Senior LED Solutionist
Bio:
George Ray has worked in the Entertainment Technology field since the 1980's.
In 1990, he moved from Newport, Rhode Island, to Orlando, Florida, where he worked as an Entertainment Technician for the Walt Disney Company.
In 1991 he began working for Total Audio Visual Services (TAVS). Over 9 years he moved into a lead projection and video engineering position as the company evolved into AVHQ.
In 2000 he joined LMG. Over 17 years he progressed, eventually becoming the R&D Engineer. After the 2008 Olympics, DV LED had a transformative change- LED was available to almost anyone. LMG invested heavily in many emerging LED manufacturers. George was on the ground in Korea, Japan and China.
George joined Evolve in 2018 as the Senior LED Solutionist. He led Evolve's growth in rental LED until 2021.
VuStudios was home for two years. This included building Vu-Nashville, Vu-Las Vegas and Vu-Orlando as Lead LED Engineer.
George rejoined Evolve in 2023. He consults on LED projects around the country. He regularly teaches LED programming and LED color adjustment.
