Chris Reade

Bio:

Chris Reade, lighting designer for Dierks Bentley, has over 35 years of experience lighting bands. He has been instrumental in designing productions for many artists from a variety of backgrounds and creative styles. Chris has traveled the world on tour with headline artists including Porno for Pyros, No Doubt, Aerosmith, Jennifer Lopez, Kacey Musgraves, Marc Anthony, Prong, Catherine Wheel, just to name a  few.

His success has landed him in feature articles in Live Production Magazines and has given him the opportunity to be nominated for, and to win industry recognition and awards. In 2026 he was the winner of the Parnelli Awards Nook Schoenfeld Lighting Designer of the year. Chris is also a 3x winner of the CMA lighting director of the year.
