Alex Gendal

Bio:

Alex is a Chicago-based lighting and projection designer who has worked professionally since 2019 with experience in live theatre and corporate AV events. He graduated from Purchase College with a BFA in Theatre Design/Technology with a lighting design concentration, and from The University of Texas at Austin with an MFA in Integrated Media for Live Performance. He was nominated for Jeff Awards in 2019 and 2023 for Best Projection Design and continues to work in the field.

As the WATCHOUT Specialist at Show Sage, he is dedicated to working with customers to finding the best fitting solution for their media server needs and is eager to find solutions for any video project. He is enthusiastic to teach others the software tips and tricks he's learned in the field and continues learning from customers' experiences. Alex is committed to ensuring each customer has the knowledge and understanding to learn and utilize WATCHOUT to the best of their ability for every kind of event!
