Vectorworks Power Planning and Cable Management

Session details:

This half-day class will use Vectorworks Spotlight cable tools to layout power distribution and cabling to existing light plots. Attendees will add distributors, cables, data tags, worksheets, and more to create the paperwork to communicate with their crew. Using the schematic layouts, familiar to ConnectCAD users, attendees will calculate the power needs for the light plot and create labels for cables and distributors.

Target Audience: Lighting designers, electricians, technical directors, board operators, and lighting design educators (anyone who needs to add electrical layouts to their light plots)

Prerequisites: THIS IS NOT A BEGINNER CLASS. Attendees must have a basic understanding of Vectorworks or have attended the Vectorworks Training Introduction to Core Concepts and must know the basics entertainment power distribution. We also recommend taking the Spotlight Essentials Seminar from the Getting Started seminars, and completing the Core Certification Course.
