Ethernet for Entertainment: Network Full Day COMBO

Session details:

Ethernet for Entertainment: Network Basics (morning): This class is for those who have limited experience with networking. Topics include network components including cables, connectors, network switches and end point devices. Participants will learn how to install RJ45 connectors on cable.

Ethernet for Entertainment: Network Setup (afternoon): This class continues on the Basic class, and is for those with some Entertainment networking experience but want to expand their skills. Topics include network routing concepts, setting up switches, subnet masks, VLANs, DHCP and air-gapped security.

Discussion of real world challenges is an open discussion where attendees will be able to present issues they have experienced and ask about future plans for Ethernet systems.
