Opportunities for Growth: Transforming Public Art Events

Inside Straight Productions, a 15-year-old event production company with a primary focus on music festivals and regional live events, has successfully branched into the Public Art space. In this session, ISP leadership will discuss the ripe space for innovation and growth in public and municpal live events, which live event offerings are least represented, sponsorship activation concepts, NFC integration, and strategic concepts that transform one-time public funding into evergreen, leasable design portfolios.

ISP will draw on recent enagements with the city of Colorado Springs,CO and the city of Aurora, IL. The former resulted in a permanent architectrual projection mapping and audio installation, and the latter was Lumenaura, a 3-day experiential event that relied heavily on light art and drew 20,000 atendees.
