Mandatory COVID-19 Vaccination Policy - Updated September 2021  

To ensure maximum safety, Questex has instituted a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all in-person participants at our LDI Show in Las Vegas. Participants at LDI will be asked to provide proof of vaccination before the event starts. Additional details on the vaccine policy will be provided upon registration.  

If you cannot participate because of this policy, or due to travel restrictions, we encourage you to contact us.

Q: What health and safety measures will you be taking at the event? 

  • A: The number one priority at LDI is the health & safety of all participants. Our team has been working in partnership with the Las Vegas Convention Center on how to provide a safe and secure environment. 

  • The LDI exhibit halls and conference areas will be a safe and controlled environment where exhibitors, sponsors, attendees, speakers, contractors, and vendors can interact, conduct meetings, and form meaningful relationships. As we move towards the opening of the event, we want you to know we are taking every step available to create a safe and secure show experience. 

 
Onsite safety measures will be implemented from the moment you step into the venue, including but not limited to: 

  • Las Vegas issued an executive order in August 2021 that allowed a mask exception for indoor conventions over 4,000 that meet specific requirements. LDI cannot mandate the use of masks at the event. However, we would like to encourage our participants to follow CDC guidelines which strongly recommend that everyone, regardless of vaccination status, wear a mask when indoors in public spaces other than when consuming food and drink.  

  • Touchless hand sanitizer 

  • Increased sanitation of high-traffic areas

Q: Do I have to be vaccinated in order to attend? 

  • A: Yes, all attendees, sponsors, speakers, contractors, vendors, and Questex staff must be fully vaccinated at least 15 days prior to attending the event. LDI will not be accepting partial vaccination or proof of negative test as entry requirements.  

 

Q: What are the approved Covid-19 vaccines? 

A: Proof of full vaccination is needed to enter the events. According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), a person is considered fully vaccinated:  

  • 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, or  

  • 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.  

  • Accepted vaccinations include those authorized for emergency use by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (i.e., Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, and Johnson and Johnson (J&J/Janssen COVID-19 vaccines), and COVID-19 vaccines authorized for emergency use by the World Health Organization (i.e., AstraZeneca/Oxford, Covishield, Sinopharm, and Sinovac).  

  • Mixed COVID-19 vaccine schedules are permitted as recommended by the public health agency of the administering country. 

 

Q: How do I show proof of vaccination? 

  • A: After you register, you will be contacted by Health Shield via a text on your cell phone. You will need to upload official proof of vaccination via the Health Shield text messaging application.  If you did not provide a cell phone number, you can upload the information via QR code that we will send you via email.  

 

Q: What if I am not vaccinated 15 days prior to the event? 

  • A: You will not be allowed to enter the event. If you cannot participate because of this policy, please contact our team

 

Q: What if I am unable to have a vaccine due to being immunocompromised or have other medical reasons? 

  • A: You will not be allowed to enter the event. If you cannot participate because of this policy, please contact our team

 

Q: What if my company does not allow me to travel for business? What if I am personally not comfortable attending in-person?  

  • A: We appreciate that there are company travel restrictions in place, please contact our team

 

Q: If I test positive before the event and must isolate, will I be able to get a refund? 

 

Q: Will I have to social distance? 

  • A: We ask delegates to adhere to all health and safety signage at the event, including socially distancing when possible.

Q: Will masks be provided? 

  • A: Participants are encouraged to bring their own masks, however there will be onsite provision to replace lost masks. Hand sanitizer will be provided throughout the venues.
