Mandatory COVID-19 Vaccination/Negative Test Policy - Updated September 2021
To ensure maximum safety, Questex has instituted a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination, or proof of negative test, policy for all in-person participants at our LDI Show in Las Vegas. Participants at LDI will be asked to provide proof of vaccination or a negative test before entering the premises. Additional details on the vaccine/testing policy will be provided upon registration.
Q: What health and safety measures will you be taking at the event?
A: The number one priority at LDI is the health & safety of all participants. Our team has been working in partnership with the Las Vegas Convention Center on how to provide a safe and secure environment.
The LDI exhibit halls and conference areas will be a safe and controlled environment where exhibitors, sponsors, attendees, speakers, contractors, and vendors can interact, conduct meetings, and form meaningful relationships. As we move towards the opening of the event, we want you to know we are taking every step available to create a safe and secure show experience.
Onsite safety measures will be implemented from the moment you step into the venue, including but not limited to:

Q: Do I have to be vaccinated in order to attend?
A: All attendees, sponsors, speakers, contractors, vendors, and Questex staff must be fully vaccinated at least 15 days prior to attending the event or show proof of a negative COVID-19 test no longer than 72 hours prior to entering LVCC.
Q: What are the approved Covid-19 vaccines?
- A: According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), a person is considered fully vaccinated:
2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, or
2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.
Accepted vaccinations include those authorized for emergency use by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (i.e., Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, and Johnson and Johnson (J&J/Janssen COVID-19 vaccines), and COVID-19 vaccines authorized for emergency use by the World Health Organization (i.e., AstraZeneca/Oxford, Covishield, Sinopharm, and Sinovac).
Mixed COVID-19 vaccine schedules are permitted as recommended by the public health agency of the administering country.
Q: How do I show proof of vaccination or negative test?
A: After you register, you will be contacted by Health Shield via a text on your cell phone. You will need to upload official proof of vaccination or negative test via the Health Shield text messaging application. If you did not provide a cell phone number, you can upload the information via QR code that we will send you via email.
Q: What if I am not vaccinated 15 days prior to the event?
A: You will need to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test.
Q: What are the approved COVID-19 tests?
- A. PCR or Antigen. Test must be taken within 72 hours before entry to the LVCC.
- All attendees, sponsors, speakers, exhibitors, contractors, vendors, and Questex staff must wear a mask at all times in any area designated for LDI (exhibit floor, conference, etc.)
Q: Do you offer COVID-19 tests on premises?
- A. LVCC will not have onsite testing available. We suggest testing in advance in the area and uploading your results before arrival to the convention center. Click here to view local testing locations.
Q: What if my company does not allow me to travel for business? What if I am personally not comfortable attending in-person?
A: We appreciate that there are company travel restrictions in place, please contact our team.
Q: If I test positive before the event and must isolate, will I be able to get a refund?
A: Please refer to our attendee Terms and Conditions.
Q: Will I have to social distance?
A: We ask delegates to adhere to all health and safety signage at the event, including socially distancing when possible.
Q: What are your mask requirements on-site?
A: All attendees, sponsors, speakers, exhibitors, contractors, vendors, and Questex staff must wear a mask at all times while in any area designated for the show (exhibit floor, conference, etc).
Q: Will masks be provided?
A: Participants are encouraged to bring their own masks, however there will be onsite provision to replace lost masks. Hand sanitizer will be provided throughout the venues.
