This hands-on, four-hour tutorial provides an introduction to the essential skills of using Vectorworks Spotlight to create light plots. Attendees will discover the advantages of today’s lighting design programs using information modeling: Create a light plot using the built-in tools and from this data model, generate paperwork, sections, magic sheets and hanging cards! Also, learn how to seamlessly exchange data with Lightwright. No lighting professionals should be without these skills in today’s entertainment industry.

Target Audience: Lighting designers, electricians, board operators, and lighting design educators (anyone who needs to make light plots)
Prerequisites: You must know the basics of how to use a computer and you must know the basics of creating light plots on paper or in another CAD system.
