Live Design Master Classes
The Live Design Master Classes feature the industry’s top designers and artisans coming together to share their insights and opinions with attendees from around the world in a relaxed intimate setting. The classes provide a combination of aesthetic, technical, and practical information, while the manufacturers’ showcase periods allow attendees and speakers the chance to check out the latest gear. At select events, attendees get to see a show designed by one of the speakers and stay for a post-show discussion.
Our speaker list over the years reads like a who's-who of the top designers in the industry, including Jules Fisher, Abe Jacob, Zachary Borovay, Bob Bonniol, Steve Lieberman, Vello Virkhaus, Jeff Ravitz, Kevin Adams, John Broderick, Jonathan Deans, Bob Barnhart, Brian MacDevitt, Bill Klages, Anne Militello, Abigail Rosen Holmes, Leon Rothenberg, Willie Williams, and many, many more.
More than any other industry event, the Master Classes provide an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get up close and personal with the best designers working today. Events in 2015 include: the New York Master Classes for Lighting & Projection, and Sound, June 2-6 at NYU; plus the Las Vegas Master Classes@LDI, for Lighting, Sound, and Projection, October 21 & 22, including exciting Electronic Dance Music sessions.
